A thread like this could be a useful resource to keep us all sane, especially for those that aren't used to online gaming.

Here's one game we played which is currently free https://store.steampowered.com/app/442070/Drawful_2/

What I did was I set up a discord server and instructed friends/family to join, then shared my screen. You then go to jackbox.tv and everyone can play using their phones.

I'm sure you could do the same with zoom but I'm more familiar with discord.

There's also this guy doing a live quiz: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iprb1OXKdW4

Does anyone know of a way to play trivial pursuit online?

Used this to play trivial pursuit by sharing my screen again

In theory, you could play any board game which doesn't require hidden cards although it can be a pain for the host if it's complex

In the same way, anyone that has the jackbox games on playstation could stream it on twitch and let everyone watch that as well.
I'm pretty sure you can add a longer reply time in the game for when you are streaming it as there will be a slight delay.

I'm assuming it'll be the same for xbox users on mixer.

I bought Monopoly Plus on the UPlay store after i asked the missus would she try it if we ran out of stuff to do. Was on sale for €6 last week,it says you can play it online.

We haven't been bored enough to try it yet but we probably will this weekend if we can a few other people we know online.

Can you let us know how that works practically if/when you do try it? Does everyone need a copy of the game?

I'm trying to find a board game that is as straightforward as possible for non-techie people to join

Yeah no problem. It will probably be the weekend though.
