Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

patching concrete over new water pipe

A plumber ran a new water pipe (the black plastic flexible tubing commonly in use) by cutting through the footpath and attaching to the house feed. He's not been back to finish the patching work. I've never done this, but I think I'm capable of mixing up some concrete and patching the cut. Is there anything special I should do, to the pipe? PVC pipe like I'm used to, doesn't have concrete restrictions, but not familiar with this black flexible pipe.

Here is an image to show you what's up. It appears he wrapped the length of pipe through the footpath in some sort of 'ribbed' material, not sure what that's about.
    Thanks

I'd just put some sharp sand in the gap and be done with it. No need for filling .
