Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I might go to a Jazz club in Germany later this year. I've never been to a jazz club, obviously you go well dressed but what then? I'll be alone, am I expected to order food? Can I just drink and watch the band?

You can certainly have just a few drinks. Don't overdress, and follow everyone else when it comes to clapping after solos. Don't make too much noise.

So that's why people clap solos at jazz gigs....just following everyone else !!! ;)

Yup - always initiated by a handful of head-shaking front-row musos who have just witnessed a performer do a solo that they couldn't do.

    How did it go OP?
