Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Retrofit Back boiler in wood fired stove

I am considering buying a clip in back boiler to insert in existing wood fired stove(for DHW), but looking at the stove there are convection fins at the back of the firebox and also at the rear of the stove. to install the back boiler these would need to be ground down to give an even surface to allow flush connection of the pipework,
Has anyone gone to lengths of grinding down cast iron convection fins to install a back boiler?

    thanks
