Got married, bought a house, became a dad to two kids, bought a boring Dad car, knocked the drinking on the head.

On a personal level its been getting my autistic kids education sorted, one is in mainstream school and meeting his targets, the other just graduated university.

On a wider level it's been marriage equality and repealing the 8th, never expected to see either of those happen.

Well clearly more of an achievement than spawning an offspring.

    My kid

    Awww, I like goats too.

Can't think of any significant accomplishments, ive been battling depression for 3 years now. I'm determined to get better, medication helps, roll on the 20's.

Any good digital scales will do, weigh yourself before, and after. Don't weigh the sh1te itself, that's wrong.

Personal: I suppose I could look at it in a sequence of major events in my life but if I look at the overall bigger picture and compare my life now to my life at the end of 2009 I can say I've definitely gotten my ѕhit together and grown up!

Society: Too many to count really, the advances made in computing, science and medical technology have been amazing over the last decade, some are new ideas and some are existing technologies or concepts that have been mainstreamed and mass produced. Drones, In home AI, cryptocurrency, PrEP, Ebola vaccine, streaming media, sharing economy, 3D printing.

Started the decade in a bad place financially and personally
    Lost a parent
Lost numerous friends to damned cancer
    Was seriously worried financially

End of decade still miss my parent and friends
Financially in a MUCH better place

Main Achievement: Having supportive friends and family that I adore.

Did you vote against the progressive amendments, Q?

    no, I voted with both,

voted for the Lisbon treaty, twice, just over 10 years ago
voted for childrens rights, to keep the Seanad, and for the court of appeal,

can't remember what way I voted on reducing the minimum age to be president

I was on the right side with the blasphemy and divorce referenda as well....

Since 2010, I've completed my undergrad, masters, and PhD. Moved to a land locked country (I miss the ocean) for the PhD, and then about 6 months ago I started my first real world job in a different land locked country. I moved in with the gf after a couple years of long distance.

And just so it doesn't all sound positive, I'm losing the battle with my weight despite controlling my diet more and gymming 2-3x a week.

Do you mind me asking what you did in college?

Started the decade as a hobbyist cartoonist drawing bits and pieces. Nothing serious.

By the end of 2019 I finish off the decade with 2 long running webcomic series with modest but loyal readerships from across the world.

And just now I finished collaborating to the 7th group-comic book in a series that's been printed in Japan for the past few years. So....not badly done I guess... :D
