Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

London's rising crime - 6 fold increase in acid attacks in 6 years

There has been an extraordinary rise of acid attacks in London over the last few years. According to the article London has become the world capital for acid attacks which beggars belief considering how developed it is and the high cost of living London requires. Crime is evident in every big city but these rising statistics are fairly noteworthy.

I don't know if there's any solution to it, the acid figures surprised me so maybe they'll surprise some others.

Acid attacks only seem to be part of the problem, violent crime as a whole appears to be on a rampant rise.

Hence recent legislation to limit the sale of acids. I don't know what the reference to the high cost of living in London has to do with anything. It has many poor and deprived areas, like most cities.

Made me chuckle, then I realized that as a piece of music it has more going for it melodically than everything in today's top 10 put together, now I need cheering up.
