Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Ekoku was first.

Arshavin is right, as is viduka. I'll give you Cole but he did it twice, against Ipswich and Newcastle.

3 more doubles and 8 singles to go.

    Henry correct.
Owen twice, against Forest and WBA
Solskjaer twice, against Everton and Forest. The latter in only 13 mins.

Cole actually got five in that Ipswich game, the only player to score five goals in a Premiership game (so far)

There have been 2 that scored 5. Cole is one. Should have stated 4 or more.

Can you guess the other 1?

Has to be Shearer, can't believe he hasn't been mentioned yet.

Oh, and Berbatov for Spurs v. Reading. Helped my Fantasy Football score no end, that did.

Jimmy Floid Hasselbank too I think? All spelt wrong no doubt too!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 260 ✭✭portumna

Shearer got the other 5 goals. I'm very surprised it took so long for him to be mentioned. Thought he would have been guessed as having done it twice.

    Hasselbaink for Chelsea v Coventry.

    Berbatov, Spurs v Reading.

    4 more.

    Yakubu?

Shearer is definitely one, I remember him scoring five in a game for Rovers against Sheffield Wednesday. Andy Cole scored five in a game as well.

Lampard did it last season, Fowler has done it more than once, same with Andy Cole I think, Michael Owen, Klinnsman is another. Has Yakubu done it?

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 23,146 ✭✭✭✭beertons

    Ferguson for Everton?

Shearer was for Newcastle v Wednesday in 99.

    Lampard v Derby.

    Klinsmann v Wimbledon.

Only 1 left. Who'll be the one to get it.

I'll take a wild stab at Yeboah ftw. Or maybe Ruud Van Nistelrooy although I don't remember him doing it.

Luckily we got this 1 out of the way on Friday since Football Focus ran down through the list on Saturday afternoon. Then it would have been real easy!
