Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Assessment jointly and new work

Hi. My wife and I are jointly assessed since 2008. She was working at the time. She left paid employment to work full time in the home in 2013. She started her own business in the last few months and registered for revenue my account but it didn’t register properly. I have some questions. Firstly I am brutal at this tax stuff.
I am in public employment. I have her tax credits. She will earn 7 to 10k annually from her business. Does she need her own revenue online account...is it one account per person regardless of whether you are jointly assessed.
Her business is in the leisure area and has no work since Covid ...does she qualify for the 350 euro? In summary she currently doesn’t have a revenue online account.. I have. So she has paid tax yet because her business is in its infancy..

    Thanks
