All I can say it that the East Galway survey should be released soon. It says it has been but I can't find the details out yet

The historical maps do not assist much. A number of items are named that may help in research. Springs, stepping stones, fords, lime kilns, all standard items on maps of this era. The 1842 map shows a building surrounded by pockets of woodland. the house seems to have been extended by the re-survey at approx 1900.
