I would be very grateful if anyone had any personal experience or know of children attending St. Brigid's Boys NS in Dublin 18.

We have a young son who we are investigating options for in the area.

    Many thanks.

Based on other parents who's kids go there/turned down a place there -
The number of kids in classes there is very high (they were taking in two junior infants classes of 34 each a few years ago), most kids in classes of 30+. Kids often leave in the higher classes to go to Willow Park and Monkstown Park to ensure secondary places.
The building is old with small classrooms and they have lots of old portacabins. They have very little outdoor space for a school with so many kids. Parents with kids in the boys and girls schools are way happier with the girls school. Non-catholics are not happy with the amount of religion (maybe that is the case with all catholic schools).
That said its highly over subscribed.
There are lots of other schools in Dublin 18 and surrounds that have large modern buildings with outdoor space and more reasonable teacher/pupil ratios. Look into them all.
