Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I mean should we not lighten up and just be mates?

Everyone is grumpy. Everyone is too political.

Men going their own way embarrassed over their spotty bums.

Women totally unsure of themselves ..trying to be feminist every second of the day so as not to let let your girls down!

    WHO ACTUALLY CARES?

I think we are over politicized.

LETS BE MATES! :) AND LET'S BE SILLY AND HAVE MORE BUM THREADS

Ah it's more of a boards AH thing.

No one comes on here, sees a point and thinks, "yea I see where you are coming from there".
It's instantly about ripping someone else's point to pieces.

First they came for the socialists...

Gotta keep arguing over all those rights and identities.

I think it's more a case of some people not being happy with who they are so they try to fit in with whatever the trendy cause is. That's a bit simplistic I know but take your mention of feminism OP, we should be who we are. If that's a feminist or a politically driven person or a devil may care philanderer, then go for it.

Most people are grumpy because we have been caught up in the cosumerist gravy train killing ourselves with work to buy crap we dont need. We are richer than ever but also working harder then ever and therefore have no patience when things go wrong.

We think we are free but we are in fact slaves to our own desires.

If everyone thought like you OP, sure. But everyone doesn't. There's always a few who **** it up for the rest of us.

I'm speaking generally here but the problem with boards.ie is that its prominent users are mainly made up of two groups: IT nerds from Dublin who have a inflated sense of their intelligence even though they watch films based on comics for children and "salt of de ert" taxi driver types from Dublin who believe their meagre contributions to the tax pot means that they can crib about foreigners/travellers/liberals/gays/blacks and so on.

Members of both groups are bitter because they're completely uninformed, unremarkable losers and they use this forum to spew their bile fueled by how pathetically useless they are. The level of discussion here is shocking.

Your journey as you move amongst us is truly awe inspiring, so much so that we must wonder how we would survive in our soulless world should anything unfortunate ever befall you.

I will be eternally grateful to you , for gracing us with your presence.

    Kindest regards,

I am regularly given out to by family for never spending my money on things. I don't mean bills or shopping just o don't really buy much stuff.
I don't Iv ever had the urge to buy stuff I don't need. Lots of the people I work with are constantly buying crap online that gets delivered to the office. These are the same people that say they can't wait for payday.

To restart the cycle again I presume. It's a bit sad

I wonder how internet trolls affect society. Do trolls give people a false impression of how toxic society is that they carry into the real world? Could that turn into a vicious circle by inducing more trolling?

If everyone agreed with everyone else, it would be a bit dull. Like those FB groups where all the posts just seem to be people saying good morning and all the replies are just people saying good morning back (yes, really). It's nice in its own way but not very interesting.
