Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sorry about that, reading my last post, it seemed a little snotty and condescending. I didn't mean it to sound like that.

Yep, the first A380 in Ireland landed at SNN, it was a BA testing Shannon as its Trans-Atlantic alternative.

There was also a Air France emergency landing as far as I recall,

The BA wasn't the first A380 the test aircraft did several touch and go 's several years ago it was in an all white scheme. Can't remember the exact year.

Actually now that you say it I vaguely a test A380 from airbus was testing at SNN before the first delivery.

That Atlas Air was very loud! Flew over the house at 7,500ft and we heard it over the TV!

I would guess the A330 from MIA is running late and crew are nearly out of hours so the dash 8 is bringing in a relief crew to continue the flight to Germany
