Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Need a bit of help fellas. Headlight on Mrs O's e300 is cracked. No stone chip,no obvious damage to ie,except its cracked ;). Its aligned perfectly, I'd say it was most likely a bird on the motorway or something like that.
Anyway MB want €1150 +23% for the lamp :(. They say the glass (plastic) cant be repaired. That price doesn't include fitting which would bring the price up to about €2k .
Any ideas on anyone who could replace/repair the glass. I'd like to get it done before theres moisture ingress, leaving me with no option only to replace the whole lamp.
    Cheers fellas.

    Edit the car is 2015.

Get a second hand replacement from a breaker's yard and either have a good at fitting it yourself or get a mechanic to do it.

I thought of that, but it's led,and does that self adjustment when you turn them onl so the replacement would have to be 100 %

Ah right, I was thinking it was a slightly older car. My main concern around finding someone to repair/seal the crack is would it pass the NCT? I don't think you could just replace the outer glass as they are usually bonded/sealed to the lense/unit itself.
