Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Santi Cazorla has been absolutely fabulous today. Best player on the park by a mile.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,435 ✭✭✭wandatowell

    3 points please!

If we win here, it'll be as important as winning the cup last year imo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,183 ✭✭✭UnknownSpecies

It's a joy to watch when the team is working this hard. It's never lack of ability that kills us, it's lack of effort. Delighted we've stepped up today.

Just short of having a cape on his back. Just awesome.

Obviously I crave the 3 points, but no matter what happens here now, this first 80 has been the best away performance to a top team in a good few years!

Over the f****g moon with that result, but most importantly the performance. Top class.

Santi, take a bow son. Awesome.

Coq, Bellerin, Giroud, Kos, Monreal… Actually, thought our 2 worst players were Sanchez and Ramsey, and they weren't even bad! Great team performance, and totally disciplined. Huge win.

Top four team beaten ..... Tick!!! (with a bonus for an away from home victory!)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,752 ✭✭✭Mr Blobby

If you'd told me at the start of the year that we'd beat a Man City team on a 12 game winning streak while starting Coquelin,Bellerin i'd have laughed at you.

    Great performance.

For once in a long while Wenger got his away day tactics spot on.
Delighted I sent him my tactics book. :pac:

Not a lot that I can see.

Signing a player like Sanchez infecting the team with his mentality was bigger

My first post on the new thread! Fantastic result in winning at the champions! Superb all round performance! Well done Arsenal! :D

Bellerin looks good which is a nice surprise. :)

Great to see the passion and pride from the players today, unreal result

The tactics were spot-on in the first half but a City team firing properly would've been a different proposition. Still glad to see it though.

Coquelin proving the doubters (including me) wrong

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,012 ✭✭✭✭Alfred Borden

So good! Wenger was spot on today, probably his best managed game in a while. Santi was brilliant while Coq and Bellerin were also top notch. Mention for Ramsey returning from injury today, didnt stop running which helped close down space.

    Gavs fault.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,912 ✭✭✭omega man

Whatever Santi is taking I want some! The wee lad is on fire.

This could be a huge turning point in that wenger has proved he can approach a big game differently and still play some fantastic passing football. Time will tell but it's exciting. I know its only one game but city away with practically their first team is BIG.

Oh and thank fcuk we don't have to listen about how we can't perform away to big teams (however true it was!).

Thanks arsenal for topping the weekend off :-)

No yaya toure is a big loss to city, we made the middle of the park ours without having to deal with him.

Even when we were caught on the break we still looked calm and collected when blocking crosses into the penalty area.

Don't think Sanchez had as bad a game as people were making out today, he was always causing problems for their defence, im sure there isn't a center back in the world that would enjoy playing against him!
