Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best keeper in the world? Don't think so, your typical british hype after a few good performances.

    All keepers make mistakes.

And some get stick while other don't.

Hart is terrible under crosses. He does that atleast once a game. But the english media and some blinkered city fans don't see it. He deserves the same criticism that other keepers get.

Pool fan criticising a Hodgson team.

    How surprising.

So you are going to tell me its wasn't terrible stuff? Or are you just looking for a reaction?

Nice gesture from England players to help get fans who stayed on home

So from what I've heard England played Cleverley on the left and struggled to get a proper hold of possession. If that is all true then lol, when will they learn.

Rooney was actually pushed wide to help protect Cleverly, rather than either drop Cleverly and bring on Ox-Cham or at least swap him with Milner who was doing his lumpy yeomanry stuff on the right. Defoe was left as isolated as a very isolated thing.

Milner actually played quite well. Good passing and good crossing.

I wouldn't pick him but he was definitely one of England's better players out there.

One simple change would have made a huge difference. Ox-Chamberlain on for Defoe. That way you could have a midfield 3 of
    Carrick---Cleverley
    Gerrard----.
Milner and Ox out wide and Rooney up front. Gerrard I presume would prefer that role too.

Yeah sounds about right to me. I didn't see the game so I can't comment too much. But if you stick Gerrard and Carrick in central midfield and insist on shunting your better ball players out to the wing then you are going to have problems imo. It's the same type of thing as England have been doing for 100 years.

Rooney hasn't played well for England in about three years or that's how it feels. Maybe he should get dropped and give his Utd team mate a chance.

Man U fan prodding a 'Pool fan when neither is playing. How redundant.
