    HI,
    does anyone know why the office that issues ppsn is not functioning?
    Someone I know applied for one 10 weeks ago maybe more and was sent a letter saying it would be two months before they would be given an appointment.
    Two months have passed and no notification.
    They are worried that when the letter comes the appointment will be in another two months.
    In the meantime they are paying taxes at the top rates and no credits.
    Anyone know anything? Thanks

    It is taking approx 3 months according to King's Inns Street Intreo office. Best advice is to contact your local politician and ask them to follow up on your behalf. This will speed things up. It's completely unacceptable but it will be the quickest solution for you.
