    Hi,

Replacing a lot of plumbing atm and have decided with an unvented indirect hot water cylinder.
Will be placed under the stairs and fed from cold water storage tank 8m above.

I assume this supply will need to be pumped pre-cylinder as the pressure wont be there to supply some new mixer showers

Will the pump go just before the cold water feed to tank and T off for cold water supply under the stairs?

most of what i am seeing online is UK based with mains fed supply

how noisy are 3/4 bar pumps?

any brands to avoid.. got recommended a DAB 3 bar

    thanks

Bumping this to hopefully get a recommendation on a reliable pump

    hi Boooooonzo,

We are doing similar - locating Boiler and Pressurised Cylinder under stairs. The Main pressure feed under the stairs is 3 bar however we have two Showers, 1 located on floor above ( old house tall ceilings so c. 6m to mixer ) and the 2nd another 5m higher again. For this reason, we are thinking of a water tank with submersible pump to be located next to the HW cylinder, that will feed a constant pressure into the HW cylinder and 'smooth out' variances in mains pressure - kitchen, toilets, two showers running at once.

How did you get on ?
