Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hitachi digger- no hot air

    Hi,

    I have a Hitachi ex60-1.

    I have cold air blowing, on both the hot and cold air settings.
    Any ideas of any easy fixes?

    Or mechanic job.

    Not familiar with the layout of the cab on those but if I was fault finding I would check first that the engine coolant is completely full, getting hot and the water is circulating.

    No air con. It's around a 20 year old machine.

    Is the machine getting warm, could be a knackered thermostat stuck open?

    could be heater unit been disconnected and pipes looped around on the engine?


    Its not unknown for these to leak

    So pipes going into heater are definitely hot. Radiator in heater is very lukewarm. Just blowing cold air still. May need to rip the heater out.
