Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

is there actually a bedroom or is the room with the sofa bed and the chair the bedroom?

It mentions a small double bedroom but no picture. I'd imagine the bed is wedged between the walls and a picture was best omitted.

Where is the bed? Is it a pull out sofa?

Edit: nevermind, question answered before I posted.

I'd love to buy that and do something with it. Not sure I'd build a house on top, but it would make an excellent hostel, or Air Bn'B, adventure games or just a great swingers club.

I would love to buy that place but I dont like the colour on the kitchen units, & it looks a bit too industrial too.

Yeah, after seeing the "Hostel" movie, I don't think so.

Also, that flat. Communal clothes washing facilities? You'd pick up less pubic hairs in an orgy.

sofa bed I'd say, if its so small why so much furniture, no need for 2 stools an arm chair and a table if that's it I'd want them gone. its not like you will be having people round.

Can you rent a place without wash facilities, or are you supposed to stand in the toilet and flush?

I see the estate-agents-cum-journalists are merrily egging-on another property boom. They obviously haven't learned their lesson from the last time. Just look at this sh1t
She made what has been a two-roomed bothan with a loo and hall all squeezed into its 270 sq ft into an open-plan space, with three-piece bathroom with rain shower, fitted Celtic Interiors kitchen, plus mezzanine in the middle section with roof lights fore and aft.

It's still a 2-roomed bothan ffs. The work seems to be mainly superficial. This is a hut with lipstick on.

Not a bad house at all. I'd happily live in it. Aside from the 10,000 cows who died in the furnishing of that house it's quite nice. I'm guessing the owner is/was a butcher seeing as there are piles of cow hides and a butcher's block table in the kitchen.

How the hell do they not break their necks falling over those hideous cow hides though. They must also have a forrest because firewood is piled up everywhere.

2.5k is mad rent for that location, but I'd have to give them some kudos on the layout. They've managed to make something bright and roomy from your bog standard 3-up, 2-down 1980s house.

Ugly as sin on the outside though and by jesus you'd need to see the engineer's certs after all of the walls they've removed downstairs.

A few sheep gave their lives as well!

I stayed in a boutique BnB/hotel in Kerry a while back that had cowhide rugs in the room - and I absolutely loved them! I've never had the nerve to get one for my house (not sure it'd suit an Edwardian city terrace tbh) but they've always stuck in my mind. Maybe I need to buy a house to suit the furnishings I want......

Not so sure about them as chair coverings though, they're slippery as feck!

    80s? Go again.

1500 a month to live in a shed in a back garden in a 1960s council estate in Tallaght.

You wouldn't want to sit up suddenly in the bed, but at least you could get dressed on the loo. Handy to have the wardrobes beside the toilet really, I'm surprised more don't do it ...

Where's the rest of upstairs? It's like Harry Potter, but over the stairs instead of under them.
