Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am not from Longford, just pass through it every so often, along the N4.

Might be going to Corlea Trackway, with family, and I'm thinking about looking for a cafe/pub for a group of 6/7, for a simple meal/sandwiches, etc.

    Five adults, two children.

    Thinking about Keenagh village?

I have seen Mac's Shack online, any advice?

Also have seen Leavy's Of Foigha, a few km away?

    I welcome any advice.

Longford town would be possible also.

Another query - does Keenagh have a playground?

    Thanks so much.

Macs shack would be the place to go in kenagh. Good grub and nice place.
Leavy's wouldn't be a place to go for food.
    No playground in afraid.

Ballymahon would be a better bet. Only about 10k from Corlea, sorry, I can't give any recommendations but the town is buzzing on the back of center parks.

BTW, if you've young kids, a detour will bring you to the ispca. Mine always liked seeing the the donkeys, puppies and kittens, give a little donation on the way in if u want.

Edit. Playground in Ballymahon near the river
