    Just starting a thread up to watch developments with the count. Should be an extremely interesting day. Paddy Power during the week suggested Boxer 1, 2 and 3 for Fianna Fail, and FG's Burke taking the fourth. Plenty of independents for elimination in early rounds so could be a while before we get any seat filled.

    The size of the first preference tally for Sorca Clarke was unexpected, and for her to unseat our expected poll topper Boxer Moran. All to play for, with seats 3 and 4. Interesting times indeed.

    Good to have the first count in but no real new information as its broadly similar to the tallies. The transfers and eliminations are where it will get really interesting. At the moment, it looks like 2, 3 FF and its anyone's guess for the last seat right now.
