Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Looking from recommendation for somewhere to have food in Longford Town. Will be there during the day and not familiar with area. Thanks

    Not in town but 10 minutes away on the banks of the Shannon.

    Lovely location, great grub.

    What type of grub
    Viewmount for high end stuff
    Take2 is a new Burger place ( more american diner, than fast food)
    Meekong has nice Asian food, noodles etc
    Spice India is where I'd go for a curry

    Longford arms has carvery, but gets mixed reviews, you could be lucky!

    If in tarmon I'd go to purple onion over Keenan's, more expensive though

    Thanks for recommendations. We ending up in take 2 and i have to say was nice food and fairly reasonable. i would return
