Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So with clonburris given permission and the amount of units been increased to 11,000 what changes to public transport are needed in the area to cope with the extra over 20,000 people this will bring in to that area?

For an area where traffic is getting worse and worse and no options to expand / add bus lanes in certain areas this is going to be a disaster imo. Will provisions be made in busconnect now this has gotten permission. Assume something will be done with the train station at kishoge?

Bus connect is being reworked currently so presumably this decision will be factored into the revised plan, the revised plans for clonburris say kishoge is to open in 2020.

Where is that? I was reading ABP decision and it basically straight out set, houses first, Kishoge station to open some time after or else it'll delay building process. Which is a completely moronic thing to do.

Not mentioned in ABP but basically there are 2 bus scenarios:
    1. New Clonburris - Park West route, New Grange Castle to Liffey Valley route, new Blanch to Tallaght route via Clonburris.
    2. Extend the 13 and 40 into the SDZ. Think this was shot down though.

There also plans to increase stops to Clondalkin station as some bypass during peak etc.

The buses need to be in place before mass housing in place imo or it will be a disaster.

If the last piece isnt done first, then we can forget anything about planning !!

Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.

DART Underground would be a along term goal after bus routes, but......
