Very professional attitude from a dealer!

Seriously though I know where he's coming from. I would say without exception 8 out of 10 callers are wasters who just want to spend the afternoon talking about cars, fine if it's a hobby and your in the mood but headwrecking if your trying to run a business.

The Lotus is now back, complete with new water pump and timing chain :)

Bodywork needs a respray (next years project) and teh interior needs tidying - nothing major, just a spruce up. It was up at €12,500 pre the world going down the toilet but open to offers of cash or interesting cars. Bundles of history and a fantastic car (guts of 2k spent at a classic specialist this year alone) that needs a wee bit of TLC to be outstanding.

    Make me an offer ;)

I'm in Kilkenny,,,,rust is the main problem with this car. Floor is rotten. Was gold then somebody painted it green. It is 1981 with modern interior as fitted to all Turbos and later 18s.
Still on UK plates...If it was irish I'd be keeping the taxbook!!!!!!!!!

I have for sale a set of period 13" Wolfrace alloys that graced my BMW 2002 until recently.

    http://www.adverts.ie/showproduct.php?product=148276

They would suit any late 60s or early 70s classic car, not just BMW 02s.

They are in reasonably good nick, and rust-free (aside from slight corrosion around wheelnuts) but would probably benefit from a quick sanding down, primer and repray. They're nice and straight.

The two front ones have firestone 185/70 tyres which are well worn and would need to be replaced, but the two rear ones have bridgestone 185/70s which still have a good bit of tread left, as you can see in the pics.

Size 5.5 x 13J, not sure what the offset (no ref to an ET number but WT9 is stamped on it), but its not extreme or odd or anything.

    €50

    Hi
I'm looking for a few Jaguar XJC parts. Specifically I'm looking for side glass for both sides, possibly a roof panel (want to get rid of a Webasto sunroof) and then more general stuff like lights, door locks etc etc.
Roof panel would be similar to the 4 door SWB Jag if anyone has one of those scrapped.

I need to go through a load of boxes to see what's missing from this project so I don't know everything I need yet so because of this I might consider a full car (rolling shell - I don't want any engine or gearbox parts) if it was cheap enough ( although I really don't need another car lying around:rolleyes:).

PM me & let me know what you have that might be suitable.

I have a pair of XJ front wings in reasonable condition if interested. Not sure if they are Series 1, 2 or 3. I have a feeling at least one is for the series 1 which I don't think can be got easily any longer.

Thanks for the reply - how much do you want for them and where are you located. Any chance of pics if I PM you my email?

Picked up a complete XJC yesterday. STill need a roof panel as this XJC is a bit too complete to chop up the body.
