    To whom it may concern,

I’ve purchased a house in Hazelbrook Court Churchtown D14.
We have been made aware that we are being delayed moving into our home due to Irish water not connecting the houses.
Our builders have left the site waiting for Irish water to come along. We are now after moving out of our rented accommodation with an unknown timeline of when we will be in our new house due to Irish water.

    Hi Niamh,

Just wondering if you got sorted on this so far?

We are also in the process of buying one of the houses in Hazelbrook Court and we have been told Irish water is still yet to confirm when they will commence work on the estate.

    Thanks,
    Eka

However, if your name is not on the application but the developer is, then you would need to contact the developer to request an update on the application.

Hi, same situation here, been in touch. with estate agents, builders and also irish water. Irish water has no dates, I asked if they had a date previously set for before lockdown- no they didnt, so I don't really know how any work is going to be done. I will be fairly shocked if we ever actually move into this house. Seems fairly unlikely with mortgage approval deadlines and other factors..

    Hi All,

We are in a similar situation with a new build in an estate where the delay is due to waiting on Irish Water sign off and water connection to existing mains. Would be great to get an update from anyone who has been through this situation and is through the other side of it!

    Thanks!
