Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Burn mark on wardrobe door

Hi, I did a foolish thing and that was to leave a small electric heater too close to the wardrobe door overnight. I woke up to this burn mark. If needs me I´ll buy a new door somewhere somehow. I was searching for remedies and some websites said try baking soda and toothpaste in a mixed gel for a few minutes but tbh it…

The only way to fix that would be to sand the door and refinish.

The burn changes the structure of the wood, it can't be changed back.
Only remedy (imo) is to either scrape off, sand down, or just paint over.

Is it solid wood?- then sanding and perhaps wood bleach might work. However its probably a veneer of some sort and short of getting someone to re-veneer the door you are probably looking at a replacement.
