    Pre-thread cliff notes:

The gist of this thread in a line:

Female ministers in parliament have for the first time in Irish history, authority to implement all the right decisions - but are failing to do so, because of their own covert instability/hypocrisy - that's what I'm saying.

And that's why I posted this in "current affairs".

    **

I actually struggle to make it through an interview unless there's some kind of visual interface.

Someone posted this a while ago and I never listened cause it was an audio link.

    But here's the full she-bang.

1:01:40 - is the time, cause lame ass boards.ie web formatting doesn't facilitate time stamping.

For the uninitiated, Eric Weinstein is some kind of intellectual guru, and Ashley Mathews is a skin flick actress.

As to the statement, so beautifully put.

"As a society, we're all wildly sexually hypocritical - and that's normal.
It's how the civilian world has always been, and is likely to be that way for the foreseeable future".

So, you may know from such other threads as,

    - "Helen McEntee and friends".
    - "Francis Fitzgerald and friends".
    - "Jennifer Carrol McNeill and friends".
    - "Catherine Martin + others".

i.e. I'm blatantly targeting female members of the Irish parliament.

Reason being, dudes can implement decisions, but often times not the right ones.

"Behind every great man is a great woman" - whilst a little oversimplified, the general allusion is that women have predisposed sensitivity (in general) to determine suitable decision making, and the dudes have predisposed authority/assertion (in general) to actually carry out the decisions.

    It could equally be said that, "behind every great woman is a great man" - but the general allusion here is that, addressing societal and national hypocrisy in policy and therefore national well being, is ultimately rooted in that which we all think about, all the time - non-stop - pretty much underpins our entire functioning, but refuse to acknowledge and if asked outright, will flatly deny;

    PEbH.gif

This is what Weinstein means when he says, "as a society, we're wildly sexually hypocritical".

In fact I can basically anticipate a slew of responses to this OP to the effect of, "mate, get your mind out of the gutter - do you never stop thinking about this depravity?" - meanwhile, they probably have pornhub open on another tab.

Until we accept the reality of repressing a gynocentric natural order in politics.

We are going to continually be subjected to patriarchal structures expressed in societal forms as late stage capitalism, with all the inherent problems that brings.

lol - you're trying to hard matey.

That's not what I was alluding to nor does it come close to reflecting the genuine nature of matters.

No it's the way you wrote it. It's not very readable whatever it was you were trying to express.

I went from saying, "as a society we're wildly hypocritical", to naming government ministers and alluding to their policy making tendencies.

    ....

    You can't join the dots?

Let me 'splain it like this.

I'm actually taking this from another "hypocrisy" thread I posted recently that bombed.
    Let me give an example.

I know this chick. HUGE c**k fiend.

This chick just can't get enough, morning noon and night.

I have yet to hear her not absolutely slate the promiscuity of others, both men and women, every chance she gets.

    It just drives her nuts.

That's condemnation of what she practices in her own personal affairs - driven by emotional volatility/instability (I actually think she's just mad cause they're more effective at being promiscuous than she is - so she slates them in this holier-than-thou pretense).

    .....

How is this a current affair, you may ask?

Extrapolate this - to say, the Irish government and those in an "advisory" position.

    - Josepha Madigan
    - Francis Fitzgerald
    - Jennifer Carroll McNeill
    - Helen Mac - I haven't decided yet, still on the fence.

Condemnation outwardly, of what they personally practice.

My point is that as a society we're all predisposed to hypocrisy.

As a result of this we endorse corrupt decision making on a governmental level like,

    - the catholic church and their teachings

    - oppression of human nature through corrupt hypocritical teachings

    - skewed societal structure all the way through to infrastructure as a means to validate societal divisions

    - corrupt institutions

    - and just the general nauseating feeling of watching hypocrisy at work through those tasked with the responsibility and well being of an institution or nation (technically one being an extrapolated form of the other).

i.e. their condemnation of a practice or behaviour outwardly, whilst openly engaging in such in their own personal life.

Yeah I might win the green card lottery one of these years and bounce.
And end up in one of the most contradictory and hypocritical cultures on the planet?

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

As usual OP, I haven't a notion what you are on about, and I doubt I'm alone in that.

Or well, he's not as amazingly intelligent as he thinks and is just riding on the coat tails of his brother's coming to prominence..
