    Hi all,

    Hope everyone has been well.

    The 2020 astronomy calendar is now available for free download (2.5 MB pdf) from https://bit.ly/35bSto3

    Errata
    Versions downloaded prior to 11pm on Tuesday, December 10th, 2019:- January notes say Venus is 4 arc-seconds from Neptune. This should read 4 arc-minutes. The information in the event date box is okay though. The link has been updated to the corrected version of the calendar.

    Thank you John on another amazing calendar! It cannot be overstated the time and effort it has taken to compile this. Thank you so much. A great resource and some very good tips/advice on getting started and educating yourself in astronomy. All the best for the new year.

    Many thanks for the kind words about the calendar. Enjoyed all the research aspect to pull together the stuff as it shows how dynamic the sky really is.

    I started on the 2021 notes a couple of months ago as Whitaker’s deadline was always the end of March. That publication and brand has now been put up for sale by Bloomsbury so the contributions to it are no longer required. The main author of the section on astronomy for the book was Sheridan Williams, former Director of the BAA’s Computing Section.

    All the best for the holiday season and year ahead!
