Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Free fiver bet on the race with Betfair on the exchanges.

Was liking the chances of Damalisque in the 1.37 at Navan today but have missed the decent prices.Best price 15/4 now.

    Fire up them winners..........

The Betfair Chase has three top quality chasers and it's very hard to split them. Lostintranslaton beat Bristol de Mai last year but had race fitness which he doesn't have this year. Clan des Obeaux is better at Kempton I feel. It's a race to enjoy rather than bet on.

Fancy Cash Back getting 8lbs off both Notebook and Fakir today at Naas.
Good Boy Bobby in the 13.15 at Haydock.
Couldn't resist the big price on Kalashnikov in the big staying hurdle either,

Have both Reel Steel and Lostintranslation in roll ups.

Does Laurina have to win tuday, or does she just have to run well and show the old spark

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 976 ✭✭✭supremenovice

Laurina is bet of the week in my opinion. I think she beats Call me Lord off level weight, never mind in receipt of 13lb. Remember she was second favourite for last years Champion Hurdle. She hasnt regressed enough to be beaten by Call me Lord. I think she should be about 1/3.
Itchy Feet is worth a bet in the 1405. Gavin Sheehan can make up for last weeks big race disappointment on Simply the Betts.
And Bristol de Mai can get back on track at his beloved Haydock in the Betfair Chase

Main Fact looks very interesting for the 2:25 at Haydock. David Pipe has used this race before for launching the careers of some very talented horses such as Grand Crues and Dynaste.

Ok, that's Laurina done for anyway. $hite there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,930 ✭✭✭kksaints

At best she needed the run but it's very hard to have any faith in her.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

Cobden didn't help her that's for sure.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 976 ✭✭✭supremenovice

Disaster there. I thought Nicholls would give her a new lease of life but I guess not.

Wouldn't be surprised if Willie Mullins was watching those last two Ascot races with a wry smile.

PP have paid me for the place on this. Any ideas why that might be? (Horse fell not far from the finish)

Absolutely woeful from lit and clans des obeaux

  • Registered Users Posts: 823 ✭✭✭Coneygree

Might have to get Minella Indo in the book, not good at all from LIT. Perfect prep run for Clan Des Obeaux.

Prep run for a king George nobody cares about the Irish won't even bother sending one over for it

Super performance from Bristol de Mai. He outstayed Clan des Obeaux. Disappointing from Lostintranslation. I'm surprised Bristol de Mai has never gone to Leopardstown at Christmas. You'd think it would suit him with the heavy ground.

Leopardstown is rarely if ever soft never mind Heavy at Christmas or any other time for that matter.

Nicholls won't be improving any of those Sullivan horses. Mullins will have had them well bottomed out.

No you haven't. I haven't a clue about racing but I've never seen you tip up anything on this forum. You just post nonsense.

Bristol is some Haydock horse. Thought Clan Des Obeux ran a cracking race, should win the King George again but neither will go close in the Gold Cup.

    True enough , great ground.

The best ground is in Thurles ( turrliss ) , for jumps anyway, rarely called off.

Mallow is a bog even it it hasn't rained.

Honest question lads and lassies , what is your big fancy this year? No dossing please, it is about the horsies at the end of the day ?

What is the name of the horse your family bred that McManus has now, big strap of a thing? Catchy Name? I reckon good for staying chases , lovely jumper?

    Honestly cant remember the name?

The Gunner Murphy? Don’t think he’s turned out as good as they thought he was anyway.
