Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just back from a walk down the park, beautiful down there, I need to start walking down there more often, all the waterways that I suppose lead in to the main river are dried up mostly  and there's weeds growing out of them  I can remember these water ways being full of water only a couple of years ago

    Kitty,

Home after calling to the nursing home. It's good that we could talk about old times but it's difficult to remain patient when something from yesterday is forgotten and another thing is mentioned repeatedly. Old age is a wonderful gift - if you can keep the old grey matter properly tuned.

Making coffee but I'd prefer a brandy.

It's horrible isn't it. I get like that with my mam. Along with the guilts for getting impatient.
Mam is getting very angry and lashing out at people now.
I used visit a few times a week now I just go once a week, selfishly for my own sanity.

I'm making tea and toast and going back to bed, cause I can and I'm tired :)

On my bed waiting to chat to me mammy and daddy.

Had a lovely day with my fella just having lunch and sitting over drinks chatting for hours. Then a bit of grocery shopping and home. He has gone now as he has to bring his dad somewhere later but just the few hours with him was so nice. We can just talk about anything and everything for hours on end. He picks out of me and I pick out of him and it just feels so nice.

Then when he is gone I miss him so I get all antsy and want to break up. God am a mess of a person. Don't know how I will cope without him for a month when I go home. Sigh.

On the couch letting dinner digest.

If the weather stays nice, will head off for a drive. :)

    Kitty,
Have a ball. Make the most of every opportunity that comes up while you're there and don't waste a minute of this great experience.

Fare well kitty *wipes away tear and waves white hanky*

    Kitty,

Have a ball, enjoy Leeds ( little place in my heart for that place)
Make good friends, from everywhere, you will keep them forever. My friends daughter just moved halfway around the world, already knowing people there that she spent her Erasmus year with.
    Super opportunity

Very politically incorrect... but I used to be involved in a sport committee and every so often we'd have meetings I each others houses...just to make it less formal... anyways...at a meeting one of the members said he was epileptic and he was feeling a spell coming on...the house owner asked what should be do ....Me." put him in the bath and throw your washing in with him" ...tbf...it's an old joke and the guy with epilepsy laughed ..the house owner went white :)

Long story short...he didn't need to go into the bath

bedside still.... looking down at my "slumber of cats", all intertwined and nestled in their furry intimate tangle...

The wind is nearly gale force and the branches of the elderberry tree outside the curtained window are shadow-playing, wrestling....whipping back and forth.

But we are snug, my "slumber of cats" and I...

Had a quick jaunt down the bog lane enjoying the evening sunshine. Settling down now to some letter writing and enjoying a glass or two of wine.

Back from relaxing, took a mozy down to have a look at Cannonball. Serious HP there. Never saw as many Lambo's . Many millions of €€'s worth of cars on the quays.

On an unrelated note, anyone any good at hotwiring a car.

I may have attended Cannonball and what beautiful cars were on display :D I of course was in my element :D Nothing like the sound of a proper V8 driving in front and behind you :D
