Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Stupidity from Gibbs. Probably killed his team's chances.

Just realised I never saved my Son to Hamez transfer, serious fear before this game and Son dropping is another kick.

    Dammit

    Bilic sent off too.

Not a great day for West Brom.

Better chances for more goals now West Brom are down to 10 .

    Excited for the second half

Now Bilic given a red. West Brom have imploded.

Seen a few double up on Everton with a -4 after last week.

    Handsomely rewarded.

    DCL hatty incoming

Don’t own any Everton players. Might have to find a way to get James or DCL in. Look like bargains at their current prices.

Suppose that would be an example of the wheels coming off.

Couldn’t quite hear what Bilic was saying to the ref but I don’t think it was nasty.

Wonder what pushed Gibbs to do that. A 30 year old experienced premier league player who doesn’t have a reputation for that sort of thing.

Very frustrating as a non Everton owner

FPL is turning into a form of poker.

A game that more often rewards aggression than conservative play.

On Bilic's red card - you could probably bet players say a lot worse to a ref during a game - and wouldn't even get a yellow - and you'll probably see other managers this season do similar and not get red.

Also on the "offside" - the commentary said that because the defender deliberately played the ball, it's not offside, like is this a new grey area? like if VAR decided that he didn't deliberately play it - would it have been disallowed?

Cant watch the 2nd half of this, Everton could hammer them

Or for those of us without Jamrod, Richarlison or DCL

It wasn't what he said but how he said I think.

"You killed us" is what he said. After the red he used Croatian only so can only imagine.

What Gibbs did was stupid and not sure how this could have been challenged regardless of what happened prior to it between the two players.

Depends what kind of player you are.

After 70 points last week I had no problem doing - 8 this week.

Gonna have fun this year. We will see how this ends. Used to play it safe last year and it was costly mistake.

Yeah have the same attitude this year. Will have fun with it. Season could be a mess. Might as well enjoy it.

Didn't enjoy 30pts last week though!!

    Pereira with a screamer.

    2-2

    Pereira goal. Some free kick!

Stunning free from Pereira for 2-2.

Digne transfer in turning out to be a disaster. 😢

If you were one of those that did TAA to Digne - you probably wouldn't be overly happy now either.

    That's my point.

Traditionally, a 70 point start would dictate that you stick, or at least continue to see the lie of the teams.

Now, its be aggressive at any opportunity. "Gotta get Everton into my team on the foot of a good performance". I've seen double ups and treble ups.

The reason is there is a gap between the top 7 and the rest that is quite distinct. So if you get your timing right, massive hauls can be yours if you're super aggressive at the right time.

Before the last 2 or 3 years, I don't quite remember it being like that.

It's not a complaint. I just think the game is slightly different to how it used to be.

    Glad I kept Pereira!

Great return from him today so far which I was not expecting.

Yeah true in fairness, you'd think there's still something in this for him though

    What's the craic with Johnstone?

Is he getting close to saving anything at all or just exposed?

I don't know how he just has 1 save, i thought he definitely had 2 maybe 3.

Defense isn't great. new signing to come might tighten things up.

Thought the same - he saved Richy's header that Keane turned in - dunno how that's not a save, and then there was a shot in first half that i saw him stopping.

DCL takes goal off Ricky on the goal line

It wouldn't go in if he didn't touch it in the end I think.

Stop it Everton. I can't take any more.

Didn't trust DCL at start of season - even for 7m, but might have to look at getting him - with all these tap ins.

This is a tough watch as someone who only own Digne.
