I didn't hang it myself, I've wiggled and twisted and lifted it every direction.
    It refuses to move.
Its tight to the wall on all sides.
    Any advice appreciated.

Is there internal brackets accessible only from the inside?

The whole front is a door and opens to reveal a complicated mechanism, but definitely no form of fixing.

I’d say it’s hooked in tightly onto screws.

Hold it with one hand and with he heel of your hand thump it upwards and it should pop up.
