Historical Temperature Highs / Lows

    I'm wondering if there is data available to check the historical temperature levels over the past number of years. I'm trying to find the average lows and highs each month of the year with a single highest and lowest for each month as well.

    It doesn't have to exactly match my criteria, I'm looking to purchase outdoor gear for various times of the year and need to see what temperatures to prepare for.
