Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I see here a service to remove household waste.

    http://www.manwithavandublin.ie/

I have taken asunder my garden shed so there’s a bit to remove but I've concerns over the job being done right and not dumped at the side of the road.

The guy I called says his guys have 'licences' but I've seen some bad types with vans going around to dispose of household waste and hear stories they are just dumping it illegally.

Any recommendations for a solid service in Dublin area? I'm in Clonee.

    Thanks

Good question. Is a waste disposal licence issued by Council or EPA? Whichever it is must hold a list of approved operators.

On the "About Us" I see they state:
We offer home and office Furniture and Waste Disposal Services and Electrical & Electronics Recycling in the Greater Dublin Area, through authorised waste disposal partner companies, who hold waste collection permits.

It's worth keeping in mind that giving waste to an unlicenced operator is also against the law. You would also be liable for illegal dumping.

    I'm in Dublin.

I had an 8' x8' garden shed, which I broke into its constituent panels. Dublin City Council offer a service and for a fee will collect large stuff from your front gate. This was about 3 years ago.

Whoops, its suspended due to Covid....

edit: sorry, should have read more closely - you're actually in Clonee.
