Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone here know if it is possible to fish Glanteenassig Lake for trout. I've found reviews online saying it is possible to fish for rainbows there with a permit but no info on how to get a permit and if the fishing is any good????

    Thanks

Live a few KM from this lake. It has not been stocked for years as they couldn't keep up with the amount of fish being taken out after stocking by people with multiple rods as it was rarely policed. Small wild brown trout with some sea trout and the odd salmon in the Lower Lake (Lough Slat)

Thanks for the response, what is the head of wild brownies there like? Is it worth fishing??
    Thanks

Plenty of wild browns mainly small of 0.25 lb with the odd 0.5 lb and possibly 1 lb but never caught a trout over 0.5 lb
