    Its a standard usb 3 cable. Its not a usb adapter of any sort. Obviously your device and computer port must be usb3 also to get the speeds.

    It also needs to be Usb to something else, what connector is the other end?

    They also had mini-hdmi to full hdmi in shannon, believe i got the last one though, handy for connecting tablets to tvs.

    Nope. I don't actually have any USB 3 ports, was just trying to clear it up for the general public. Although my bargain hunting brother seems to have picked up a lovely mini hdmi to hdmi cable. :)
