Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sony Bravia XH95 TV query

    Hi,

    I'm looking at getting a Sony Bravia XH95 TV. I know it is saorview compatible but does it have the possibility to pause and rewind saorview tv?

    No, No it bloody doesn't.. as I found to my cost.

    I got a KD-55XH9005 and while its got a nice screen it really isn't good for anyone wanting to use saorview or free to air satellite.

    Getting the EPG to work is an unbelievable faff.. only managed it through the good grace of some great Boards.ie users here.

    And whats really annoying is that while it DOES record if you set up a USB drive.. it DOES NOT feckin pause live tv ...

    Even my cheapass old LG used to be able to do that and I hear that Samsungs do too...

    But its really bloody annoying in shops like DID etc that they won't demo the live TV functionality of these sets.
