not hers but now cast as mother and whore
during the day, full of love, full of warmth but at night out to the icy decaying streets
and one night November seventeenth she wouldn't be coming home

Bit of work on these and you could have something really good but to be honest for me they don't read like lyrics but they could with a bit of tidying up on the lines so they flow better, in parts they both have that haunting feel to them so i would say just keep the words that your lyric line needs and less of the word for word guide.

Just my thoughts on both.

You know when i first read your work i got a strong sense of spoken word poetry, kind of like a stage presence characterizing the depths of what's going on within your words and at times powerful imagery coming from the way you write which is always a great weapon to have as a writer, but i do think you should (if you haven't done it already) record yourself (spoken word poetry) become the navigator of your own words and when recorded listen back, just to see what you hear, i also think you got a Tom Waits style in the way you write.

I like Shadow Boxer reminds me of a wino from years back harmless soul but when drunk sometimes would be seen doing his shadow boxing routine, you got some good twist and turns in your words which reads like there could be an interesting flow there and at the moment i don't see anything needs to be change, so if its okay with you i like to give Shadow Boxer a try and see what i can come up with just acoustic and vocals, if not that's okay, keep writing.

Sorry didn't mean to indicate you move to poetry didn't even know there was a poetry section here, i have your lyrics in front of me and going to see what kind of melody and vocal way i can put to them i think i already found a way for the chorus so hopefully we're half way there, interesting journey ahead for me and these lyrics of yours, thanks and talk soon.

Nah its all good i know its probably more suited to poetry but I'm not that interested in poetry love music though, Its an amazing thing to hear a song that can capture the worlds attention even briefly.

The aftermath hotel

She broke all the furniture
Neatly stacked it in the centre
Just like he did to her
Heartbroken, deconstructed

John, he drove his convertible into a wall
With a pliers pulled his teeth one by one
Shaved his head with a blunt knife

Poor Billy left alone since the age of five

'Time Goes By' - a song I specially wrote about my baby sister who was born in March and how she filled the empty void in my heart which was caused by my nanny's death. It also says that my nanny sent her to us.

Only verse 3 {when I was young, I used to go.... etc} is rap until the thanks to you part which goes slower. Yes, I have put Music to it - though it hasn't been recorded because of my bad singing (I can't find a singer) and also I am setting up a recording studio. However, the Music alone without any vocals has been recorded so far! You can check out the Music here:

Okay i listen to your music but i have to ask did you put that music together, if you did really good but if you didn't no worries still really good, okay when you find a singer you're seriously going to have to give that person the freedom to put his or her style to everything and i mean everything lyrics music atmosphere and can you explain to me why you cant find a singer, thanks.

I did put the music together - composed it because I keep posting on social sites to find a singer and they take the piss out of me saying they're a singer when they're not and thus want to make my Music look stupid and annoying.

One thing for sure you definitely have talent, post on other songwriters sites and get to know other members you will find there are many from Ireland, one site is reverbnation and when you sign up giving your local area you will see many from Ireland there.

The hairdresser

Everything is so sterile in here
