Diagnosing 7s36 problem

    hi all

    one of my watches (with a 7s36) has stopped
    the balance wheel has stopped, all crown functions still do what they should

    i see there are teardown videos on YT but its not giving me any clues
    Any links / articles / thoughts on trying to figure out whats gone wrong,
    i could just swap out the movement but i might was well have a go a a fix,
    i have never tried to fix a watch but im interested in having a go
    nothing venture, nothing gained and all that and I might learn something,
    i have no tools at the moment but plan to pick up a beginners kit
    (recommendations welcome)

    The Nick Hacko tutorial on the 7s26 might be a good place to start. AFAIK there isn't a huge difference in them, 36 has hacking and extra jewels.

    But he never got round to telling us how to put it back together :(

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    the 7s36 is non-hacking also btw
