Discover Pro satnav in VW

    Hi

    Has anyone tried to update their satnav in a VW? Mine's a 2014 Golf. I have a class 10 32GB SD card, which the Golf will read.

    Trying to follow the instructions in dedicated desktop app "Volkswagen Discover Care" is confusing to say the least, such as shown in the attached screen shot of one particular option.

    That 'choose year' option is the same no matter what device you select!

    You'd have thought in this day and age the satnav itself could download updates to maps etc.
