Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Boards.ie is a recognised and valuable forum for various discussion and debate. It hosts a popular discussion forum in relation to Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in Ireland.

    As the longest established and largest discussion facility of its kind in Ireland, we take our responsibilities and obligations seriously. While we promote discussion and free speech, we are also mindful of legal rights and obligations.

    We have various policies and procedures in place as part of being a responsible website. If issues are notified to us, we deal with them appropriately, professionally and promptly.

    We also remind users of their own obligations when making postings and also of their agreement to our policies and terms and conditions.

    An issue was notified to us on Friday 29 October in relation to a posting made by a user “Anakin.S” relating to a posting made on the 15 October 2010 regarding Cage Wars, Chris Kelly and/or Leona Kelly. While we are not the authors of the post in question and are a stranger to its contents, we have removed the post following the receipt of a complaint on behalf of these parties.

    We are happy to make this clarification, and repeat our commitment to dealing with issues fully and promptly should they arise.
