Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know this has been discussed several time on here before, but i can't find a thread with what I'm looking for.
But is there a way of getting a U value of 0.16 or better by using just insulation (pumped of sheet/boards) in a 150mm wide cavity. Standard 100mm inner and outer leaf.
Do i have to look at external insulation or another system to get this u-value?

0.20 using Kore Diamond full full.
To achieve 0.16 you need a 200mm cavity.

Xtratherm full fill cavity claims to achieve it.

Is this a new build and if so at what stage?

    Insulation is a combined effort,

    walls
    installed windows
    reveals around windows
    roof

The factor these days is the whole area of ventilation. For all the minute U-values, the ventilation surely cancels out a lot of the insulation work, but is necessary to avoid dampness.
