Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The LCU have really speeded up the reporting of league matches which is admirable
However followers would like even faster result reporting ideally before games
are played as appears to have happened in this event which ends next Saturday
and has some surprise entrants and results.

Could it possibly be fake news?

Poor show by Carlsen....nothing but a charlatan who has just been found for what he is.....(in my best Dunphy impression).

If that's a fake news tournament, what's this?

That was me practising with Swiss Manager; I managed to recreate exactly the pairings that occurred in the real event. (On the way I made some "deliberate" mistakes so that i could practice fixing things that can happen, like incorrect results being reported and having to correct the draw.)

The original report in this thread is no doubt something similar.

Uploading to chess-results.com is part of the training process. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way to delete such fake events! There will probably be more, so watch out cdeb or you might get 0/6 in the next one!
