Strasburg getting slated in the Washington media for not ‘demanding the ball’.

I’ve no idea how sick he is but his reputation is being used against him in a big way today. Of course if they win today and he has another lights out performance tomorrow, all will be forgotten I’d imagine.

Apparently Strasburg is now going to start Game 4. According to MLB Network.

    Red Sox just fired Farrell

4 teams looking for managers so far. Girardi's contract is up at the end of this season afaik (so, possibly, tomorrow.) Imagine Girardi in Boston and Farrell in Flushing. That's be very amusing.

But, the Mets at least are liable to go with another yes-man like Collins. Bob Geren, Chip Hale, whoever. Girardi or Farrell would be too independent for their tastes I think.

    And too good.

Michael Taylor with a grand slam for the Nats in the top of the 8th! Amazing he hit a homer given the awful weather conditions, just about got out!

As they were 3-1 up in the WS and 2-0 in this one, the Indians have lost 5 clinching games in a row too!

Can't stay awake any longer.. Had a gig earlier and 2 hours behind a drumkit isn't great preparation for staying up..

I think I’m done for the night too. CC’s dealing though. Maybe Girardi will leave him in this time?

Gardner just had one of the best atbats i've ever seen against Allen in the 9th. 5-2 Yankees. Incredible.

I did not see that Yankees win coming. Going to have to watch the extended highlights.

Is that the Indians window gone now?

Just watched the condensed game video on YouTube..

That was some performance.. Absolutely delighted to get through to face the Astros.. But I've no idea what to expect now because I thought they'd be on holidays already

    Delighted from an LA perspective.
Much rather not have to face the Indians if we manage to reach the WS

The game was done when Lindor couldn't keep the ball in front of him. The Yankees wanted it more, simple.

I’d be more worried about facing the Nats in the next round (if they get through) than worrying about the WS opponents.

I know you’ve got Kershaw in game 1 but they’ll have Scherzer going against him and he’s a big game pitcher and Strasburg proved a lot of doubters wrong last night so with him in game 2 probably, you could be in a big hole before you get to DC.

    Tanaka G1
    Severino G2
    Sabathia G3
    Gray G4
