Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Does anyone know if 3rd years for 2020/2021 will have the same set up for mock exams. As in the week leading up to the Feb mid term?

    It varies school to school. Some schools this year had their mocks finished by the end of January. Some didn't do any at all.

    Thanks for the reply, I am trying to organise holidays around the Feb mid term - hoping there will be a mid term.

    According to the Department (of course, all set up before the present circumstances).
    February 2021 mid-term break

    All primary schools will close on Thursday 18th February 2021 and Friday 19th
    February 2021. (Primary schools may use 3 discretionary days to extend this
    break to an alternative option of a 5 day break for the period from Monday 15th February 2021 to Friday 19th February 2021 inclusive unless changes are
    required as part of contingency arrangements to make up for time lost due to
    unforeseen school closures.)

    Post-primary schools will close from Monday 15th February 2021 to Friday 19th
    February 2021 inclusive unless changes are required as part of contingency
    arrangements to make up for time lost due to unforeseen school closures.
    Where contingency arrangements are required a school authority may reduce the length of the February mid-term break by remaining open up to and including Wednesday 17th February 2021.

    If your child's school usually does their mocks before the break, they will probably do the same next year.
