Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Headline:

    Mainly cold and dry. Wintry showers in north and west.
    This Evening and Tonight:

    Clear and cold this evening for many, some showers are likely in the south and west which may lead to ice forming. Winds strengthen overnight, especially in the west as a squally band of rain, hail, sleet and snow arrives.
    Tuesday:

    A squally band of rain and snow moves eastwards bringing very gusty winds for time. Wintry showers, lighter winds and sunny spells will follow but it will remain windy.
    Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

    Turning milder with strong winds and rain, preceded by some snow on Wednesday, then brighter and breezy with showers on Thursday. Showers and wind easing from the south on Friday.

    Headline: Turning very cold, especially into next week.

    This Evening and Tonight: It will be cold overnight, but most places will be dry with clear spells. This will lead to a widespread frost, as well as some patchy fog forming in places. It will be breezy in the far northwest of Scotland.

    Thursday: Mainly dry with sunny spells, after any fog patches have cleared. Feeling colder for most, especially in the southeast with a brisk wind. Less cold in the far northwest.

    Outlook for Friday to Sunday: Turning progressively colder with a brisk easterly wind making it feel very cold. Mainly dry and bright, but a risk of snow showers in the east by Sunday. Widespread frost.
