Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Twin boys born 31.08.1845, Michael and Dan McCarthy. The parents were Denis McCarthy & Bridget McAuliffe from Two Pot House Doneraile\Mallow area. I can't find a reference on the net for their birth that I could use to get a copy from the GRO. I have doubts that this is the family I'm looking for, but if I could find the occupation of the father it would give me a better clue. Can anyone help with this please?

Might be of help I can't say for def.

The field for father of bride and groom are empty but it could have been a transcription error in that the 2 witnesses might be the fathers
