Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi there , I'm the treasurer of the UCC photography society this year and we've nearly reached the end of the first term
    and now were planning our meetings for next semester. And I thought I might ask my fellow boardsies their opinions on events we could hold. We have a few in the pipelines but were looking for fresh ideas this year. If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them.

    just off the top of my head:

    Trip to the burren or other parts of the country.

    lectures/talks in various aspects of photography ...photojournalism, fashion, PR, commercial, portrait/studio and wedding ....I'm sure there are more ... underwater photography.

    Understanding basic photography, learning the basics is always popular

    Understanding basic/moderate or advanced photoshop

    using photography in social media ..or how to use social media to sell your photos.

    plenty more still in my head - but I gotta dash !
