Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Beggars knocking on front doors

Twice in the past week we’ve had people knocking on our front door, asking for change. They’re not charity collectors, they’re asking for money for themselves. One did look like he might indulge regularly in a range of substances harmful to his health, the other a much older woman who was pushing one of those wheeled…

Speaking of proper tramps, a village near me had it's own, he was looked after by the village, slept out most nights or in a shed and did odd jobs around the place and was found dead, lying outside, having passed away in his sleep. He only died in 2017.
