Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

On holidays from permanent nights, can't get into a sleep pattern for daytime living . Even after 8 days off so far

I did permanent nights for two years, fifteen years later my sleep and eating patterns are still ****ed up

Hence why I'm up despite needing to get up at 6am

No 80s are cool too, couldn't have the 2000's without the 80s.

You have to treat it like jet lag, give yourself a very strict schedule with multiple alarms after your first "normal" day and get back into it.

Anxiety about the amount of college work I have to do and I suppose insomnia, stress and a back injury. I don't know I've just hit a wall and I want to sleep until Christmas.

Debating whether to get some meds for it. I've always prided myself on managing my bad days without chemicals but I think I need a little help. I dunno. Tomorrow might be a better day.

I'm wide awake due to tossing and turning because the bed is so uncomfortable, and possibly because I slept for 9 hours last night (the norm for me is 4-5!)...

Everything always seems worse in the night. A good sleep and think about it tomorrow plus you won't get much work done now at this time.

I'm always up late, my job means I go to bed at between 05:00 and 06:00.. So even when I'm off I stay up late, I've just adapted.

Can't sleep. Doesn't help that my brother keeps texting me moaning about the price of a taxi to the airport at silly am, despite the fact that I told him they do a flat rate if he'd have just asked them...
